Short Stories

I wrote a short horror story and have entered it in to several short story competitions, so hopefully it will rise to the top. Short stories in the film industry are becoming extremely viable. Producers are now searching for them to buy and turn into feature films and I believe this story has the potential to fit that bill.

An Acorn, a Squirrel, and an Oak Tree

Ten years ago I planted an acorn in my back yard to grow an oak tree. The next day a squirrel came by, dug it up and ate it. Yesterday I woke up to find a huge oak tree planted in my yard out of nowhere. I couldn’t figure out where it came from. How could a thirty foot oak tree suddenly appear in my yard? I walked around it. It had a trunk that I couldn’t get my arms around. I looked way up to the top through all its beautiful branches. Finally at the very top I noticed the strangest thing of all. The oak tree was stuffed up the back end of that squirrel. And he didn’t look happy.
